it’s me – derek

yes, simply the derek you guys have always known. For awhile now, I’ve been contemplating the idea of re-starting my blog. My last one started and died a very horrible death very soon afterwards, but I am gonna give it another shot and try it again :p. Recently, I’ve also started using twitter quite a bit and you can also follow me there.
The reason for this sudden change of heart stems from the very fact that I’ve been realizing that as I go through life, I have a stream of constant thoughts/ideas/random things that I’d love to share with others… or perhaps, I have something I’m thinking about, some sort of problem I’m trying to solve that I’d like to present to the awesome people I have had the privilege to meet and seek opinions.
On more than one occasion I remember catching and holding onto one of those particular thoughts and thinking ‘hey this would make a great post to share with people’… but then soon after, it disappears and I have completely forgotten what it is.
SO this place… is a place where I’ll share about meaningful happenings in my life, ask for advice about questions that run through my mind, rave about my passions, rant about random things, as I go about and well – try to figure out life.
